Considering the statistics about the diffusion of the female genital mutilation , it highlights immediately striking numbers : in Egypt , Somalia and Guinea more than 90% of women has been submitted to such practice.
In other countries , the situation is not better . In the picture , the countries where the percentage of the women that have suffered the female genital mutilation , overcomes the 50 % of the female population.
By the graphic , we can understand that this event is going to decrease . Despite everything , its complete elimination is still far to be reached.
